Where does this phrase come from? One theory has it that tailors used nine yards of material to make a suit or according to some authors, a shirt! The more material you had, the more status you held in society. We think nine yards seems a bit generous for clothing, but not for a tabletop! Come learn about how to dress a table to the nines, including an exclusive nine “must haves” for your event.
